DAVID BROOKS HAS OUTED HIMSELF AS MR GLOBALIZATION AS AMERICAN AS CHOW MEIN
Take a look at his The Existing Democratic Majority.
What do you all think he is talking about? American Democratic politics?
He's not talking about politics in a country.
He's talking about what he and those like him think of as his world.
He thinks of it as composed, mostly, of what he calls democrats, democrats he claims all like him.
He says we are living in an age of global populism.

The Middle East. Brussels, Catalonia, Paris, Germany. Eastern Europe, Russia, Venezuela, South America, anywhere in Africa frankly, etc. They would say his line is total bullshit. They are right.
