It would have been nice to partition it, by the early 20s.
Who wants to have enormous Russia breathing down the necks of the entire Eurasian land mass and beyond, from Iceland to Alaska, and the North Pole to India, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, really?
From what little I have read, the Chinese have been pouring across their enormous border into Russia by the millions. That is not a kind of solution, re partition, I had envisioned, to Sinify East Russia, but rather something partition might have prevented had it been implemented long ago. These immigrants, believe me, are not going to embrace Russian Orthodoxy, or Russification.
Americans are in dream land about the Mexicans. Russians have no such illusions about the Chinese.
