The perennial globalism, forced, as exiles, really, at first, on Jews of Palestine, from the time of the diaspora, at least, but really also from the time of the destruction of the Northern Kingdom, in 740 BCE, is a topic that no one in Western Civilization, certainly no American except people like me, and the globalist NYT, wants to touch.
The only really worthwhile one they ever had had been the North, why candy coat it? The only thing that made the Southern Kingdom, an arid sparsely populated backwater, what it became, before its fall in 589- 586 BCE, was exiles from the North in 740 BCE.
(Here I follow R E Friedman, and the authors of The Bible Unearthed. I don't just make this stuff up, although I would like for it to seem so....)
Let's just talk, for a few posts on the blog here, since the NYT has opened the door so to speak on a taboo but very important topic.
