There almost never was a quote real working class here, in the European sense of the term.
There isn't one now, either. There will never be one, either.
Even there, in Europe, it was mainly a misnomer, especially in Britain until quite late. The British labouring people, as a mass, never identified with International Socialism, early on, really.
