It is a process or rapid devolution to even a lower form of life.
The ever developing most advanced consumer technology is being designed apace to trend down to accomodate the limited language and technology skills of its less and less skilled and knowledgeable users.
People for whom English is their second or third language use hand helds mounted on their dashboards, with audio and visual instructions for the driver, for how to deliver food or persons from point A to point B, 20 times a day, for small and doubtless over time shrinking amounts money.
Their middle class customers in wealthier countries will become a dwindling source of income for these poor darlings as the decades to come grind on in this direction.
Customers will themselves become drivers, as has already happened, not owning a car, not being skilled in driving even, really.
Smart cars will turn out not to be a workable solution, but that too will grind on of its own market capitalist weight.
