I can't in all honesty go very far in criticizing this article. It is filled with problems, but it would waste everyone's attention to focus on it and bother to criticize it, sentence by sentence or paragraph by paragraph.
He is like a British version of E J, an insider in the LIEO who knows the gig is finally perhaps up.
Well, maybe just one point.....
The cause of the problem is merely the scale, scope, and speed of change. It's as simple as that for him really. Very scientific, very rational, very enlightenment, according to the LIEO interpretation of enlightenment.
Anyone who thinks that it could be anything else, causing all this, is out of the rational bounds of the vital center we must maintain.
