It is easy to predict how things will shake out now, in the future, across the globe.
Disgruntled radical starving young plebs will eventually attack their aristocracies, faux aristocracies mind you, wherever they find them.
One could see the beginnings of a social trend, here, decades ago, with the rise of merely middle upper class people moving into gated communities, enclaves protected physically from what then were considered merely rift raft and petty criminals.
In the coming time, that rift raft and criminal element will develop a radical edge. Following Brooks, let's just call them illiberals.....
They won't know much real intellectual ideology either way; freedom fighters, or so called insurgents, or zealots, seldom do.
It may be left radical or right radical, so long as they are illiberal, but probably a bit of both. They won't much care about the so called political views of their super wealthy targets, whether Democrats or Republicans, so long as they are super wealthy patrons of the Party of Davos.
