Why not make other countries do the same, by force if necessary!
Putin could run for President, while simultaneously being Premier of Russia. Of course he has to let others from other countries run for his post simultaneously!
May could run for governor somewhere here. Ditto for someone here deciding to run for the Prime Ministership of Britain.
Xi and Abe could run for anything they each want here, and vice versa!
Things like that.
Why not take Brooks up on his account, a real global democratic majority, freely and happily voting their heads off everywhere, and go with it!
The paradigm of course is and has been free trade, reducing tariffs and non tariff bariers to trade.
Why not generalize free trade to free politics!
Not only can anyone run for office anywhere, but anyone anywhere can vote for anyone running anywhere too.
Reciprocity!
How is that for a truly utopian Brooksian Democratic Majority World?
