I usually direct criticism to liberals here.
Populist Christian Republicans are too low hanging fruit, even for me, but this is a note just for you.
When the new leader of your party takes power, think about how your objectives, and hopes, and fears, will be handled by your new regime. (Not that you can do anything at all about what is to come.)
Reflect back, now, on the fate of most of the upper eschelon of Hitler's own Party, after he had used them to gain power.
Think of The Night of the Long Knives.
Trump has already shown a willingness, even an eagerness, from the beginning really, to eventually throw almost all those who were material to his coming to power under the bus.
Think about it.
