NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH:

'In a seminal series of lectures two years before the publication of  Sovereignty at Bay, 

Charles Kindleberger (1969, p 207) argued that the ‘nation-state is just about through as an 

economic unit.’ ' 

Kindleberger said this in 1969, referring very pointedly to his own prior handiwork during and after WWII.

So even 1969 was already very very late in the insider game of LIEO globalization. No one knew the score better than institutions on board like the NYT.

So, when I hear someone like Liberace at the LIEO NYT talking about the need for Left Nationalism, I have to laugh.
