Freed negroes got the vote, only in the occupied South.
Indians, considered much more human than negroes, put on reservations, or killed off.
White women denied the vote until the 20th century, 50 years after freed negroes.
That's yur America, baby.
It is one of those commonplaces of anomalous American race history that the negroes, though considered by all, especially by abolitionist whites, less human than the native Americans, were nevertheless treated both before, during, and after the Civil War better than native Americans until the late 20th Century.
In the 19th Century, native Americans on reservations were worse off in all ways than negro slaves, or than freed negroes after the Civil War.
