RE THE FLIMFLAM MAN, AND SAY, RYAN CARTOON

My favorite line was "David Brooks is off today."

That is indeed cause for celebration, and 'news', and,
great that the times can find space for such as that line.

Krugman has some good points.

Why not show Ryan doing something even more idiotic, like reinstituting Hawley-Smoot, after the production horse has left the barn?

A propos the 'companion' story on Hung, (related themes), why not put the two together, nouveau cuisine?

Mise en Scene for a cartoon:

Show Hung, lolling in cutoffs in an open glade, dishevelled but good looking, disconsolately next to his pimp, and or one of his female colleagues, getting advice on how to act with his female economist client:

The Caption above reads: "Hung Ryanomics: Ryan-Smoot-Hawley"

The caption below reads:
"If you really want to get out of there, tell her you think they should reinstitute Hawley-Smoot. Never mind what it means, just say it."

In the near background is his burned out bungalow, and an enormous Mcmansion next door, with the words "Detroit/Chicago School" prominent somewhere.
