WeChat: Judge blocks US attempts to ban downloads of Chinese app
JUSTICE STEPPED IN, ON BEHALF OF USERS (AND CHINA) AS PLAINTIFFS, AGAINST COMMERCE
IT HAS BEEN AN AREA DOMINATED POLITICALLY BY THE PRESIDENCY.
The Justice Department asked for the order not to be blocked after a group of WeChat users filed a lawsuit challenging it.
IT'S CERTAINLY "INTERSTATE COMMERCE", AND SO SHOULD COME UNDER FEDERAL CONTROL AND BE TAKEN OUT OF ANY STATE'S HANDS PERMANENTLY AND GIVEN TO CONGRESS TO MESS UP.
IT HAS BEEN AN AREA DOMINATED POLITICALLY BY THE PRESIDENCY, AND IMPLICATES NATIONAL SECURITY AND OTHER MATTERS NOT JUST COMMERCE EITHER WITHIN A STATE OR ACROSS A STATE'S LINES.
IT'S CERTAINLY OPEN TO FIRST AMENDMENT ACTIVISM.
IT IS BEING FOUGHT OUT IN A MERE JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE COURT, PROBABLY AS A MATTER OF FIRST IMPRESSION, AND A NEW SUBJECT FOR THIS MAGISTRATE THERE.
