The story the liberals want to tell about this, and what really happened, is that these clever entrepreneurial, and more advanced, first farmers expanded their operations because of greater populations made available by settlement and by agriculture, and thus also by population pressure West into Europe, as well as expansion East.
That is the story the David Reichs would like to believe and to tell, but Reich himself knows this did not happen this way.
Let me tell you a different story, and it is one based in part from hints dropped by Wade's own account in Before The Dawn.
