NOUVEAU ICE AGE CUISINE
Just a quick note to explain certain occasional entrees on the Ice Age African menu.
Some very few people may wonder why there is no genetic evidence whatsoever of mixture, the kind that David Reich likes to tout as ubiquitous and emblematic, between, say, Neanderthals and sub Saharan Africans, at any time, but also during the Ice Age......
The culinary reason for this is not that certain Neanderthal bands, running, migrating, from the ice flows that recurred and repeatedly reached to the very Mediterranean Sea, could not interbreed with most, but not all (pygmies?), African populations.
No.
The reason is obvious: Those not too plentiful Neanderthals who managed to reach Africa (they thought their promised warm land) immediately ended up on this or that native sub Saharan African tribe's menu!
These sub Saharans were already cannibals of their fellow Africans.
This was just another, new, rarer, dish for their large liberal genetically most diverse of appetites!
