JOE MCCARTHY DAVID KAISER DIALOGUE INTERROGATION

Now that Professor Kaiser has come to realize that he is in some ways a Hegelian, a follower of Hegel whom he knows mainly as the direct ancestor of Karl Marx, Joe McCarthy (Trump's real analog) comes back from the grave, and has a few questions for him:

Joe McCarthy: "Professor: Are you now, or have you ever been, a communist?"

Professor Kaiser: "Yes, Joe, I am."

Joe McCarthy: "Have you ever been, or are you now, a member of the CPUSA?"

Professor Kaiser: "Yes."
Joe McCarthy: "Were you a communist when a professor at the Naval War College?"
Professor: "I was a Marxist."
Joe NcCarthy: "What does that mean?"
Professor Kaiser: "It's hard to explain."

Joe McCarthy: "Are you now, or have you ever been, a Soviet agent?"

Professor Kaiser: "Joe, I refuse to answer that question on the basis of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution." 
or :
"Yes, I was, under Gorby, and then Yeltsin, but repudiated my Soviet allegiance after the rise of Putin, but I don't remember exactly when. I may not have gotten around to it. I may still be a Soviet agent, rather like a fallen away Catholic, or a universalist Jew."

And so on...........
Joe McCarthy: "Do you know Marc Benioff?"
Professor Kaiser: "Yes."
Joe McCarthy: "He says in the NYT he wants to go beyond capitalism."
Professor Kaiser: "Yes he said that."
Joe McCarthy: "Professor Kaiser, is Marc Benioff a communist?"
Professor Kaiser: "Why don't you ask him?"
Joe McCarthy: "I will."
