AMERICA'S RURAL CRISIS IS BASED ON RELENTLESS GLOBALIZATION AND LIBERAL AGRIBUSINESS CONSOLIDATION
These have been relentlessly promoted by both parties and most especially Liberace's NYT over many decades....
Little late, decades too late, for the NYT to now call out Republicans, Democrats, or anyone else, for this political, economic, and social situation.
...expensive health care, bad transportation options, job opportunities wrecked by chain stores, a struggling agriculture economy and, of course, the opioid epidemic.

NYT LIBERACE WE KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
You might just as well rely on, say, SNL: The Californians , to solve this problem!
Raises a good question: What the fuck is comedy for?
NYT: It's our job to call the President to account.
SNL: It's our job to call the President to account.
Who does a better job? Who does a good job? Who does a bad job?
Whose job is it, really? Is it anyone's job, here, or not?
What have I been pointing out repeatedly here re NYT?
The media never, ever, solve any problem. That includes any media, liberal, conservative, you name it.
They say they can, but trrust me, they cannot or will not.

RE NYT LIBERACE HAPPY LABOR DAY BAHN HYPOCRISY
Let's talk hypocrisy today.....
Liberace bemoans Republican hypocrisy...................
Why are labor unions down?
One big reason, certainly, maybe the biggest, is liberal media institutions like the NYT.
Why are American worker wages stagnant (actually declining and converging with global wages)?
One big reason, certainly, maybe the biggest, is liberal media institutions like the NYT.
I could go on, believe me. How much do you want?
Do other better governed societies, with bigger better unions, better wages, more general domestic prosperity, just have better media and journalists?

DO OTHER BETTER GOVERNED COUNTRIES JUST HAVE BETTER JOURNALISTS?
"The office is a potential firewall against an out-of-control president and a historically corrupt New York State government...."
DO THE OTHER COUNTRIES, WITH BETTER FEDERAL STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, JUST HAVE BETTER JOURNALISTS?

NYT LIBERACE SINKS HIS TEETH INTO THE MYSTERY MEAT
The Mystery Meat Of Liberal Journalism
The 'long stagnation in living standards' here, and how it came about.
(Guess what: It is not merely benign, but somehow also relatively longstanding stagnation, but rather something much much worse, which he won't touch: it is creeping and irreversible decline in living standards across the board, even living standards for the middle class and for the relatively well off, believe it or not. Why? Global liberal LIEO income convergence.)
Who do you think is most at fault?
Those very long in a position to know.
Who are they?
Those who put in place and promoted a policy that resulted in this longstanding, and now irreversible, situation. (Guess what: It has been longstanding longer than he claims. Trust me.)
Who are they?
Liberal politicians and the LIEO establishment liberal media, especially the NYT.

RE NYT LIBERACE MORE AND MORE VOTING DOES NOT GET YOU BETTER GOVERNMENT
It just gets you more and more voting.
They will say all, and I mean all, our political problems, and everyone else's too, are caused by a failure of the voting franchise, or too few voters, or some other vote related explanation.
Whose job is it to get better government? Voters?
That is never, and will never ever, be the case. You can take that to the fake bank.
My classic example of voter, and political party, backfire, is Lincoln, and the Civil War and Reconstruction. Lotta voting went on there.
