They ate em! No mating with those juicy Asians.
This is hardly to suggest that the Austronesians did not also attempt to eat the Papuans as well, but merely to make a case that the Papuans were obviously the better eaters!
Papuans have a very long history of cannibalism.
Their favorite dish has probably always been Asian Cuisine!
