THE NEW DISCIPLINE NEW HYPOTHESIS CALL IT UNIVERSAL WARMING
The new hypothesis, within the new sub discipline, is:
" The whole universe is, only now, gradually, getting hotter."
For conservative evangelists, other terms might better be associated with it, for broader mass appeal, terms such as
' Hot Butt Hypothesis ' . (Remember the ' The Big Bang '?).
These folks, evangelists, might also talk about the new discipline, in a more colorful vernacular, as say ' Ass Roast Physics '.
Room, within the new sub discipline, will have to be found for its critics, its naysayers, who will, after all, have a point.

ASS ROAST PHYSICS PHENOMENOLOGY QUESTION FOR THE GIFTED
Many Americans have been getting bigger, not just hotter; or at least it seems to some that way.....
To others, on the other hand, it does not seem that way at all....they see no change.
To Brandy Melville, for example, it seems so, and they actively discriminate against some, who are seen by others, and by BM, as bigger than those.
The question is: are they bigger, really, or do they only seem so, either to themselves or to others?
The more important metaphysical question: What may be causing this perceptual phenomenon?
The Republicans are liable soon to argue that it is not an agribusiness sponsored growth phenomenon at all. (But, what is, after all, an agribusiness sponsored growth phenomenon, anyway, ass roast physically?)
No, it is something entirely different!
It is rather that the universe and everything in it is expanding, and that, as a result, some of us seem larger to some of us, not just hotter, than others seem!
Hypothetically, then, we may all be getting bigger, but some of us seem to be getting bigger than others of us, to some of us, and not to others of us, or not.
The take away: big girls, who seem bigger, and also hotter, than other girls, to each other, are or may be bigger and hotter than other girls, to them.

Just one little related point: Morality is conventional, but of course that does not make it consistent.

Neither is related to physis, global warming issue, etc., but rather are moral, tactical, political, or strategic matters.
Drone strike civilian casualties outrage: no.
Poison gas civilian casualties outrage: yes.

The religious right, of course already had this idea. Googling terms brings up Baton's sermons on the causes of global warming. One problem is, his and others' approach acknowledges it to be a fact. A second, related, problem is that now conservative politicians can be held to be liable to do something about it, a bad thing indeed for expansionist global market capitalism. Thus, big mistake, kiss of death, for a plutocratic politician, if it is something he is really supposed to do something about. What they needed, and do not have, until now, is the Ass Roast Physics Hypothesis, which neither admits that it is happening, nor has any program for human activity to change it. Although I sympathize with Collingwood's definition of 'metaphysics', I side with Einstein on his point above, re quantum.
I had even heard that some research, 10 years ago or so, subatomic particles, etc., seemed to have 'corroborated' Einstein's 'intuition'. I had this discussion re quantum with a physicist friend, 15 or so years ago. She did not quite see where I was coming from, which one can understand. Why should she have? I never really went past high school physics. |
