Or even a dendrochronologist, those redoubtable mavens of attribution, on closer inspection of the exterior, "French, 1900s."
Maybe it's the old Stradivari cello that "fell off the back of a truck", in this scenario a stagecoach..., in Winter, in Russia, in 1800 something, and was never recovered! Maybe it fell off the Brandenburg Gate!
