So I guess it's still true that all it takes to pacify and distract a believing Dem is a few pretty words from Obama.
Skimmed the transcript, which is time I'll never get back... This bit is hilarious, coming from the guy who appointed a creature like Geithner:
...the 2008 financial crisis, in which the reckless behavior of financial elites resulted in years of hardship for ordinary people all around the world, made all the previous assurances of experts ring hollow – all those assurances that somehow financial regulators knew what they were doing, that somebody was minding the store...
Uh-huh. This from the guy who made damn sure that none of the principle architects of 2008 ever even had to lawyer up, let alone face serious prosecution and jail. But hey, who can remember, that was a full decade ago, and we're only people who are interested in history (some of us even get paid for it) -- right?
Clinton, Obama and the pathetic shambles called the Democratic "Party" did more to make Trump president than the casino swindler did himself. But hey, you want to lionize the guy who was content to watch his party essentially evaporateduring his term, so keep it up. Rewarding failure is what Dems do!
