"Never in the history of human conflict......" Pillsbury, start p. 70.
A truly incredible story, even by the standards of what had already been given away by Nixon, also at Pillsbury's instigation.
He has been easily the most damaging and dangerous bureaucrat we have had in my lifetime that I know about, mainly from his own account.
He has been easily the most damaging and dangerous bureaucrat we have had in my lifetime that I know about, mainly from his own account.
He can write the book, make money, and remain unindicted.
One has to go back to the top eschelon of Russophile traitors of the pre McCarthy era to find someone who have done so much damage to American interests.
Hiss, White, Harry Hopkins?
Harry Hopkins' large scale Soviet espionage and agent of influence activities may be the closest parallel in terms of sheer scale of damage done, compared to Pillsbury's very much longer career of slavishly promoting China's strategic and economic interests to the detriment of those of the US.
None of those others admitted it, however. Pillsbury is unique.
