HERE IS TALMON STILL CANNOT PICK WHETHER A FART IF CONFRONTED IS DINNER

Talmon Joseph Smith is an NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute Scholar-in-Residence. He is a graduate of Tufts University (B.A. ’16), a Harvard Institute of Politics National Campaign Ambassador, and a former fellow at the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy. Through Tisch College, he has worked as a policy writer and researcher at Issue One, a nonpartisan campaign finance thinktank. Smith was a speaker at Frontiers of Democracy and the President’s dedication ceremony of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, and his current research focus entails anatomizing the roots of regulatory capture, dependence corruption, and the conflicts of interests produced by the current campaign finance system. Born and raised in New Orleans, he still cannot pick what he enjoys more – engaging good company or eating good food. He can be reached at talmon.smith@gmail.com.
