Reich's Whig interpretation masks the racist implications of his own research, candy coated for anti white man Native American racists, with whom Reich nevertheless sides against Western colonialism and imperialism, processes which his own research has established were endemic and inherent in prehistoric populations in general, eodngamous or not, and even between and among native American populations themselves, who racially discriminated against each other vigorously even during the recorded history period of American colonialism.
