Staggering to think that his editorials, so inconsistent, one with another, over a long period of time, could be just the unadulterated product of the Brooks mind working. Yet it seems to be true!
Further, in reflecting on the day to day contradictions in NYT editorial writing, how easy it is, child's play really, to turn one editorial immediately against its brother that same day, it seems that his statement may actually be too true.
It is a very sad commentary, in a way, all on its own. But then no one would expect Kristof to agree with Blow!
The beauty of my blog is that if you don't like it, you don't have to read it, whereas many reasonably feel like they have little substantial alternative to something like the NYT, like it or not.
