many conservative Muslims believe, as an article of faith, that non Muslims should not even be in the world if Islam, and that it is not inapporpriate to consider killing those who transgress any Islamic dictate while there.
In many places, certainly, they simply kill unbelievers when they find them there....
Ambassador Power may call that barbaric.
They call it devout.
