THE KENNEDY FALLACY AND DONALD TRUMP

Americans generally justifiably believe that they can curry support from various constituents, and then after elected, tell them to kiss off.

That has generally worked very well for many American politicians, because we have a system poorly designed for political accountability or rectitude.

But, there are limit.

Occassionally, a politician will commit what I now dub The Kennedy Fallacy, the belief that you can always screw all your constituents all the time.

Kennedy thought he could get elected by the mob and then screw them.

If elected, can Trump avoid The Kennedy Fallacy? Hopefully he won't have to face that temptation.
