Think for a moment about The Great Wall.
Do you think the Chinese built that enormous thing for fun? To boost their economy? No reason? What?
How about the Roman wall across the northern perimeter of Roman Britain? Another blunder, a politician's pink elephant?
The Iron Curtain, Berlin Wall? Soviet stupidity?
How about walled gated residential communities, should be illegal, dumb illiberal things?
Walls around embassies, and some government buildings everywhere, foolishness?
Walls along limited access facilities (thousands of miles of them), waste of taxpayer dollars?
