It would make sense to many here to start making part of prison sentences of over one year that the convict cease to be a citizen here, so that once they serve their term in, say, Borneo, they become ad hoc citizens of Borneo, from that time forward.
With full on globalization, after all, and very heavy refugee movements, most people can hardly fairly complain about where they end up.
Most global entrepreneurs themselves are, after all, ex pats, and often even tax haven exiles, and refugees in a strong legal sense, from their countries of origin; why not also convicts?
That seems globalistically fair.
The details could certainly be worked out with Borneo.
