Hard to say. The true Messiah or the Second Coming, rolled into one conservative bundle, but for how long?
Maybe Professor Kaiser can enlighten us on how this might shake out, amid the dirty details of American politics which he is frankly much more adept at discussing.
One of the keys, it seems to me, and it is based on religious propaganda here over many decades, is that ultra Christians are sympathetic, in ways they maybe did not used to be, probably never were, about conservative Judaism. I am not saying that is good or bad, but it is an observation, possibly.
If that were true, what would it imply?
One thing is, and I trust conservative Jews would join me in this, that it is very hard to picture Trump as the Jews' true Messiah!
