Locke, then Rousseau, then the Encyclopedists, had so twisted and perverted Hobbes' original dictum around so far that it was a ridiculous vacuous false and poisonous pretzel of logic and truth, by the time Jefferson mouthed it here.
Once again, Trump does not even begin to come close!
