This new disclosure raises new questions in all directions.
The Chinese had claimed that the virus had been imported into China from outside,
Yet, on the other hand, there are large Chinese expat communities in various European cities, particularly several in North Italy which have been the subject of several prior posts here.
If the emergenc of the virus occurred that early, why did it take so long to break out into the epidemic seen in North Italian cities?
On the other hand, if the emergence of the virus occurred that early, why did it not spread sooner and more widely in southern Europe?
Further, if it emerged that early anywhere, or wherever, why was the epidemic seen in Wuhan so late, ostensibly, in developing?
It seems highly unlikely that the Chinese would have intentionally introduced this virus only into Europe first. In the first place, they have had no vaccine for it themselves!
