They don't own an oven, and wouldn't know what to do with one if they did.
They fry everything except rice in a bowl called a wok, if it isn't completely raw. Raw is very popular now in the West.
They are proud of being minimalist on ingredients, especially proud if they can get it down to only three, even two!
They may serve stuff on plates, but many Asian restaurants forego plates altogether for bowls, which look curiously like the woks!
Some distribute chopsticks, others not.
The traditional Chinese or other Asian simply shoveled it in from the bowl with the fingers.
They are big on nationalistic and religious symbols.
You won't see many American restaurants with a big cross planted out front. Think of the stone Portuguese one being sent to Namibia by Germany.
Crosses and white males are both out of favor in the West.
Trust me, they are in Asia, too.
