Speaking from Florida, I can tell you that the first spread of the virus here was not just or only from Europe, as it turned out to be into New England, but also then here from hot spots in New England down here, into Miami, and the resort area down there, but also here on the West Coast, because of people who had homes in New Jersey and New York, etc., and here, things like that.  Those were the first cases here, not directly from Asia. It was at first all by airplane, from Europe and then from New England. North Italy was an early hot bed because of large Chinese populations there.
