BRITISH CONTINUED COOLIE SLAVE LABOR UNTIL 1917 FAKED AMERICAN ABOLITIONISTS OUT ON ENDING SLAVERY IN 1833
After the British Empire ended slavery in 1833, plantation owners returned to indentured servitude for labor, with most servants coming from India,[10] until the British government prohibited the practice in 1917.

BRITISH RAMMED HOME NEGRO ABOLITIONISM
then rammed home Whig Lockean contractarian indentured servitude, Chinese and Indian coolie labor, more or less the same as slavery really, but dolled up liberalistically, on the rest of the world, simultaneously.
This appealed much better to England's numerous militant abolitionist suffragettes!

FERGUSON MR GLOBALIZATION
He acknowledges British Empire credit for starting liberal global income convergence (for Ferguson, a good thing, we need more of it), as well as free trade, free movement of labor, using as his best example the very widespread Empire use of so called indentured coolie Indian and Chinese labor.
He doesn't point out the hypocrisy of having fomented movements against slavery everywhere, even while it was the greatest slave merchant provider, against its Great Power rivals, and in the Empire, and while expanding the use of Asian coolies who were, in everything but name, slaves. Empire, 'Conclusion'.
