What if one or more Asian powers physically invaded one or more others, with one or more of which the US has a military alliance (past, but ongoing, blunder).
Would the US intervene militarily? A foolish thing to do, but with an existing alliance, good question.
If so, why?: Another good question. Usual answer: alliance.
Another hard question: How?
Options: not nuclear; not, mainly, drones; not, primarily air strikes; probably, conventional forces, embargoes, blockades, etc.
