VOGUE BRAZIL EXEC NOT EVOKING SLAVERY BUT EVOKING BRAZIL MULATTO STATE ITSELF

Picturing Brazilians in servile pose, to and for other mulatto Brazilians, is not racism.

It is merely Brazilian mulatto ethnic and capitalist reality.

What would have been a comment on slavery, but not necessarily also on race, but either, frankly, is fine with me, would have been to show lily white slaves at her side. She could have been in blackface, fine with me, baby.

Donata Meirelles

This could be anywhere in Africa.
That is why I call South America West Africa.
It is not particularly racist to call Africans Africans, even though there are a few, a dwindling number, of white Africans.
