Let's just go ahead and launch into a conerted attack on the very heart of the media so called message, shall we?

How bout Vietnam, 40 years ago. Went on daily, hourly, for 20 years....

The media made such a horror show circus, decade in decade out, that long before the end, ten years before, I didn't give a good goddamn who won, who lost, how many babies were stomped, whatever. 

That is how tired the media can make anyone, everyone, everyone, really, like helpless dumb laboratory animals, rats without hope of escape, rest, or inattention, exposed incessantly, constantly, unceasingly, and repeatedly, to overstimulation of the same or a similar kind, this or that menu item du jour, for years on end, day in day out, jerked here or there, adrenalin, etc.
