SEXIST DEBATES QUEER THE CONTESTANTS
This is a classic idea.
Pitting women as women against men as men, or vice versa, tends, over time, to queer both.
The already queer element in each sex tends to try to take over the game from the heterosexuals, and this is largely what has tended to happen here, where the process has long been allowed to take its natural degenerate course unfettered.
Re demographics and politics, since DK mentions the subject, you don't want to end up in a situation where half your candidates for office of either sex, are queers.
By the same token, the only folks who would want to see the majority of voters here over time become negroes are either fools or negroes.
