RE TWO PEAS IN A POD

I couldn't disagree more re his main thesis.

One point to make, however, is that disfunctional democracies, (and their lackey states),
have been the big driving force in globalization,

his erstwhile pet concept.

He can't have it both ways;

nondysfunctional democracies would not have embraced globalization in the first place,

and many defended themselves against it as long as possible.

BBC talks about sectarian violence,
re current Indian protests,
not democratic protests or misleading parallels to USA:

His favorite guiding book, in Lexus, (kind of tells it all) had been Fukuyama's foolish tome The End Of History and The Last Man, which I doubt, frankly, as juvenile as it was, whether TF read, or understood, it, anyway.
