What would that, liberal arts, mean, nowadays?


Back in the days of city states, especially Florence, where the liberal arts ideal was rejuvenated, Trivium , Quadrivium , having a liberal arts educated citizenry was more doable.


Now, it is arguably impossible, 


and the ideal itself ended up leading to fragmentations, of and into many disciplines and subdisciplines, over time,  


and never comprehended the kind of generalism now needed more than ever.
