REICH VERSUS WADE PALEOGENETIC PREHISTORY BEFORE THE DAWN THE ARCHAIC LANGUAGE BARRIER

If you read Reich, prehistory is mostly about wholesome  and natural racial and population mixtures of all kinds and types, often seemingly quite pacific, punctuated only occassionally by highly aggressive and as it happened whiter males, Indo European whiter male incursions into adjacent agricultural or hunter gatherer docile archaic or prehistoric groups of color.

Here is a passage from Wade, Before The Dawn, to set the record a little straighter than Reich very impressionistically paints it:

"The mutability of language reflects the dark truth that humans evolved in a savage and dangerous world, in which the deadliest threat came from other human groups...New Guinea and parts of Australia may represent the remnants of that ancient mosaiczone.  Given the territoriality of early people, reinforced by language barriers, it is little wonder that the world's population has been so immobile, at least as reflected in its genetic composition, until recent times." p. 204, 205.

One might even get the idea, reading Reich, that the primordial Africa negroes had been Rousseau's noble savages, only corrupted very late in human prehistory, circa 10,000 years ago and later, by degenerate Western Civilization Indo European Yamnaya white males; and others who can be claimed to have gone back down into Africa, at the dawn of civilization.

MODERN HUMANS REICH'S ACCOUNT LIKE A LOCKE TABULA RASA OUT OF AFRICA

'The spread was so fast that it is hard to believe that archaic humans put up any resistance at all', really.

East Asia, West Eurasia, same almost instantaneous story he tells.

It somehow does not fit his male dominator mixture paradigm, so he can dismiss it as something he need not comment on adversely.

It is almost as if they were talked into their graves, reasoned into their graves by more enlightened humans than they, went extinct voluntarily without a struggle, acknowledged they were obsolete. 

Hardly even any evidence of his favorite ancient human process, mixing. Almost no mixing here, between archaic humans, who had been there for almost 2 million years,  with modern humans. Just an abrupt quiet early and welcome grave, to hear Reich recount it.  

He makes it sound like a brief and peaceful liberal transition to modernity.  David Reich, p. 191. An effect akin to erasing a blackboard, creating a blank slate for the new people......

PACIFYING THE WHIG PREHISTORIC PAST

Archaeologists of the postwar period had artificially pacified the past and shared a pervasive bias against the possibility of prehistoric warfare. Keeley, in Wade, p. 153

Both prehistoric and historic times were times of almost constant generalized hunter gatherer and tribal warfare.

The locus classicus of this pacification is David Reich.

He does single out for quite selective censure the rapaciousness of the 'White' male  'Aryan' Indo-European West Eurasians who stormed down into India circa 5000 to 4500 years ago killing or enslaving the indigenous males and impregnating most all the Indian females, before the time of the Rig Veda. 

This created a fire storm of protest when the modern Hindus found out about Reich's genomic results!

Reich's account of the demise of the Neanderthals resulting from the 5 to 10 millenia long onslaught of negroid behaviorally modern humans reads like a lullaby of the mostly quick and peaceful going to sleep of a species extinction.
