REALLY, IRONICALLY, PROBABLY IT IS A SORT OF A GENETIC LIBERALISM COOPERATION MUTATION ONLY IN WHITE WESTERN EUROPEAN PEOPLE, THE FIRST AND THE ONLY CULTURE AND RACE WHICH OBJECTED TO SLAVERY OR RACISM OR EVEN THE CONCEPT OF INEQUALITY ON MORAL AND OR RELIGIOUS AND OSTENSIBLY ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL (THAT IS, EVEN PURELY UTILITARIAN AND OR ATHEISTIC) GROUNDS AND PRINCIPLES OF UNIVERSALIZATION OF ALL PEOPLES, SINCE AT LEAST 1776. 

WESTERN CIVILIZATION, NOT REALLY THE REST, IS STILL THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES OTHER THAN PAY POLITICAL LIP SERVICE TO THAT PRINCIPLE, LIP SERVICE MOUTHED BY OTHER RACES AND CIVILIZATIONS BECAUSE THEY HAVE LEARNED IT IS THE WAY TO DEFEAT AND TO GET RESOURCES, AID, AND OR PROTECTION, OR NONAGRESSION, FROM THE WHITE WEST USING ITS OWN GENETIC WEAKNESSES AND THEIR EFFCTS AGAINST IT, AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. THE GUARD OF WHITE WESTERN CIVILIZATION HAS BEEN DOWN ON GLOBALIZATION.

WHEN OPENNESS AND LIBERALISM GOES DEEPER THAN EITHER RELIGION OR IRRELIGION, YOU CAN BET IT IS GROUNDED TO SOME EXTENT IN VERY WIDELY HELD SOCIAL POPULATION GENETICS, AND GENETIC MUTATIONS FAVORING DANGEROUS AND SELF DESTRUCTIVE OVER COOPERATION.  THINK: NICHOLAS WADE.

BRYAN WARD-PERKINS THE FALL OF ROME THE DANGER OF SPECIALIZATION

He rebuts the current predominant Whig interpretation that Rome never fell....and this is part of his explanation, to some extent, of why.

He notes that the decline was not merely to a place in ancient Mediterranean and near eastern civilization antedating the rise of Rome, but a reversion to the level of the iron age, even before that.

I am just going to cite this passage in the context of other things I have said about specialization and its problems, and globalization and its problems, today. These are not unrelated. 

They are also related to problems caused by the idea, a dogma here, that one can rely on the market as one's fundamental political economic and social planning mechanism. 

I have discussed it in the context of globalization of production, consumption, and distribution, on the one hand, and of the related problem of the ramifying specialization of everything everywhere, on the other. 

This is an aspect of the problem of specialization, and of what one might call the cults of change, progress, and technology.
