Call it The Kennedy Fallacy, popping out again.
1. We originally had screwed Japan in Asia in favor of China. This led to the Pacific War.
2. Then we screwed, China, after Mao, against its enemies Japan and Taiwan.
3. Then we screwed Japan and Taiwan, siding with China, Nixon Shock (Nixon Screw) 1971, against their joint enemy China. Reagan piled on in 1980 and after. Later presidents piled on too.
4. Then, latest, Trump screws the recent bad boy economic and financial ally, China, against its old enemies or rivals Taiwan, Japan.
Which screwing was wrong?
