EINSTEIN/INFELD P 301

Why, then, not also say that Newton's law of inertia is also a statistical probability for the trajectory and velocity of a single mass (not limited only to aggregations, purely by convention as Einstein likes to opine, only under quantum), moving in a uniform motion in a right line, in the absence of friction and gravity?

As Einstein acknowledges, the law of inertia cannot be derived directly from experiment, p. 8, as little as the movements etc of innumerable individual electrons shot at a pin hole or pin holes.
