THAT THEY COULD ARRANGE FOR US OURSELVES TO KILL PATTON WAS SPECIAL, EVEN AMONG A WELTER OF SPECIAL THINGS.

THAT LEVEL OF US IDIOCY HAS ONLY BEEN EXCEEDED BY US SINO COVERT COLLABORATION SINCE 1970.   CF, PILLSBURY, THE HUNDRED YEAR MARATHON. 

The covert idiocy collaboration actually went back to the Soviet stooges and old China hands in State, White House, and Treasury, Service, Currie, and White and Adler, during WWII obeying Stalin's directives to support Mao against Chiang.

It was also the military proper. You only have to look up Major General John R. Deane Jr., Wikipedia,  to get a real load of his idiocy in his Moscow mission. It took him and his liberal and left superiors a very long time to smell the coffee on the putridness of their policy toward the Soviets.

One has to go all the way back to the civil war to find that level of idiocy at the federal level.
