MY GRANDMOTHER AS A YOUNG WOMAN

This is very much what she looked like, but this is not my grandmother.

I was shocked, only later in life to see a photo. I had never seen her young in my youth. My mother was born later in her life, and I grew up with her, age 70 or so. She died at 99.

She was, by far, the most beautiful person in my family.

Katherine Hepburn looked very much like her.

The plump grandmother who was the best cook was the other grandmother.  

This one never weighed much over 100 pounds.
