GIVE THEM ALL A RIGHT TO VOTE BY SUDDEN DIRECT DEMOCRACY

Once you started expanding the franchise, you were already starting down a slippery slope.

 

The move by the Radical Republicans, giving slaves not only their freedom but the right to vote,  game changer for globalization trends already churning since the 18th Century.

 

Why not allow serfs, coolies, anyone, everyone everywhere, the right to vote anywhere?

 

Liberals believe national borders are unnatural and dangerous.

 

Why not let anyone vote instantly anywhere in any election whatsoever?

 

Shouldn't their opinion be heard?

 

Shouldn't their vote be counted.

 

Global warming, a great issue to rally global direct democracy around. If they burn too much coal in China, or burn too much oil in the US, or spend too much money in Europe, we should be able to vote them out of office from here.

 

Great idea.

Expanding the Republican franchise. The Radical Republicans did a great job of it, in 1867, why not expand a great concept?

Let the whole world get behind one view or another, one party or another, here?

We have made certain university programs available, for free, golbally now, why not make global voting free too?  Great liberal idea. We have tried to globalize human rights, whatever that means, a work in progress, progress, a key term here.....
