THE CIVIL WAR AND THE COLD WAR

Even among the tribes, different tribes of Gauls considered themselves Gauls, as against different tribes of Germans, and against Romans of different grades, and others, and vice versa, etc., even back then.
Whether Gauls, and Germans, and Romans, were different civilizations, back then, I don't know about that.

They have histories; they wax and wane; they merge and separate; they evolve.
