This seems to sound good, comparatively, until one reflects on what it might imply regarding surrounding greater Middle East power adversaries Saudi Arabia Turkey and Iran.
Then it begins to seem rather a stretch in many ways.
It is less Hobbesian, although this is not well known, to fight wars, especially others' wars, than to avoid them.
